Bhavya Dixit is a self-taught fine artist based in Montreal, Canada. Originally from India, she creates intricate images in a 2500-year-old, Indian art form known as Madhubani.

She paints to celebrate the true essence of her grandfather's spirit. Bhavya's inspiration comes from being surrounded by nature, by the grandeur of the monuments across India where she traveled with her grandparents.

For her, these paintings are like traveling in time. Childhood memories act as an inspiration to do these creations in the present. Two-dimensional images filled with flowers, animals, birds & geometric patterns. Depicting everyday scenes.

Traditionally done through brushes, twigs & fingers, she innovated the process by utilizing 3d printed shapes for layout and framework. Paying tribute to the nation’s heritage by creating authentic Madhubani-inspired art.

She is also a VFX compositor, who has worked for an oscar-winning company, DNEG. Recently moved to UBISOFT Hybride in Montreal.

Bhavya started exhibiting internationally in June 2020 with two prestigious shows, collaborating with the Divulgarti group in Milan and Genoa.

In 2021 she was selected for the 60th anniversary of Canada’s longest and the largest running art fair, Toronto Outdoor Artfair. Her artworks became part of the international show's Art collection & Never Again in Venice.

Recently her works have been selected for the AD ART show 2022, exhibiting at the iconic Oculus Westfield, World Trade Center, New York.
